I love my nikon D40, even if it’s not top of the line or very advanced – it was all I could afford. It honestly does the job quite well, I’m not shooting anything to technically difficult [although I'd like to be, but equipment costs prohibit this] and it’s nice and light to travel with.

Anyway! I was digging through my photos a while ago and found these. The boyfriend had never done it before and was really curious on how it worked – I hadn’t done it in years. We turned off all the lights in the kitchen, grabbed the lights off of my bike [red and white] and set the camera up. Here are some of the results! I think they’re pretty awesome, for a first go at it.
